Our Approach to healing

Anxiety is treatable but can get worse if left untreated. The first step to helping anxiety is to understand the type of anxiety you experience and the triggers and events that cause the anxiety typically. Typical counseling approaches used to help with anxiety include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, exposure therapy, solution focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). At Oak Mountain Counseling, we focus on individualized approaches based on each individual’s needs by using a combination of different approaches to help with anxiety. No one person is the same, and each person’s anxiety is unique, which is why each approach to healing is unique.
